We’ve had the privilege of working on big movie productions with impressive clients over the past few years, but for me at least, getting the call to shoot with the VICE crew from Montreal takes the cake.
We met the film crew a few KM from Lunenburg where we would be shuttled by boat over to Dover Island. The plan was to spend the day with talent who would learn/attempt to climb huge boulders on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. We made it to the island around 1pm and I had the drone in the air almost immediately. We captured establishing shots and followed the talent as they hiked towards the climbing boulders. As the sun began to set the talent and crew ate freshly caught fish over an open fire before heading back to shore.
It was wild droning on Dover Island and getting to showcase our beautiful province for a client who’s content I watch on almost a daily basis!
